My Momoko

I can't believe that I'm the first to post her!!

This is Sienna . . . I love her subtle makeup (brown pupils!) and slightly otherworldly look. Her hair was problematic when it first arrived, but a little judicious treatment of boiling water to the ends solved the problem.

I feel really fortunate to have been able to bring home some of my dream Momokos through good luck and the help of friends new and old . . . and they've been a wonderful distraction/obsession during an otherwise really rough summer!

I think I'm close to Momoko-saturation at the moment -- I've found most of the ones I desperately wanted, and the others can wait a little while . . . (my poor daughter is about to go through some more medical procedures, so money's going to be scarce for a while anyway.)

I still hope to bring home the last of my wishlist girls someday, but right now, I'm very happy with the ones I have (and I have Seekrit Plans for a bit of customizing goodness for Vani and a Wake Up girl I'm awaiting, whenever I'm a little more assured of my cash flow again!)

I was thinking the same thing -- I don't know what it is about her (since she doesn't have any of the classic Tenniel-Alice-illustration attributes), but there is *something* about her that reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, too . . . she's just not quite all the way in this world, she has one foot through the looking-glass!

Your Beauty Cat is lovely! Like I said on your Flickr page, she's one of my favorites. I was going to post pics of mine earlier this year, but I didn't want my bad pics to ruin her beauty!

I'll go ahead and do it, it'll be fun! It's just hard to take good photos with my camera phone, haha. I call my Beauty Cat Anwen (it means beautiful in Welsh) but most people call her Arwen, lol.

I can remember the difference between Anwen and Arwen -- I've read Tolkien, but I'm not a slavish addict ;)
