dal wrote:.is that Lazy Afternoon? She's adorable!
Nop, sorry, Dal, she is not the girl in Lazy Afternoon. This girl has been in my family for more than 1 month now. She came with a very mess hair when I adopted her. I have tried to re-style her hair couple times, but nothing worked out. So I decided to give her a re-rooted and yet still keeping her original hair style. She was the Happy Graduation girl and there she is, as happy as she can be with her new look.

OMG! She is dressed like Kit Kidrege from the AG dolls historical series. did you make that outfit from Kit's. If not, where on earth did you find it? If you don't mind me asking. Your doll is very gorgeous.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I am really not as good as blackiegracie, the way she tracks the source of the outfits in a great detail. (I should start to do so, it’s fun to learn how people put the outfits together) Yes, it was Kit’s attire from AmericanGirl Historical Characters series. I borrowed this outfit from the AG gift package that was given to my daughter’s birthday last year. The outfit was made to fit a Mini AG 6-inch doll, so it looked a bit small on a Momoko, but I just loved the details and quality of this set. Here is the information about Kit at AG website.

Oh, duh. I forgot about the mini dolls! I know all about AG. I have been a collector of AG dolls since 1988. I had no idea momo could be this versatile. I must reconsider the mini dolls for this reason. Thanks for sharing.

Fantasy Hair Momokos

#54 Post by momohuny »

Here are a couple of fantasy-hair Momoko dolls - the orange hair is a thermal color-change. When it's warm, it's bright yellow and orange when it's cool!

Thanks, Dal! I really love fantasy hair colors - they're so happy!

I didn't reroot these - they were done by Ann in Fl. She does a really great job; I've had her reroot some Fashion Royalty dolls as well.

It's Ann Wooley - she does Fashion Royalty mostly - these were her first Momokos!
