May has arrived in Southern California. This year we will be staying local, rather than traveling like we did last year (see http://www.mymomoko.org/viewtopic.php?t=649), so stay tuned for more photos coming soon!

i always wish we could know what babies are thinking, as they process the world when it's new to them. you KNOW they must be thinking a ton of things, you can just tell.

teddybear4me2 - Emily's eyes seem to get bluer and bluer each time I look at her. The doctor thinks that they will lighten up even more.

Yesterday, May and my Karen Twosup (ver. 02sp

) along with Emily went to Fashion Island at Newport Beach. This is a huge outdoor mall with all the major department stores and lots if little boutiques. It was really lovely out near the coast considering that up in the mountain area where we live the temps have been in the lower 90's!

May and Karen pose with Emily in her pram; all of them decked out in fashionable Burberry!

The girls had lots of fun walking around the mall, eating hot pretzels and splurging on Haagen Dasz ice cream cones.

And today May got to meet one of the Siamese; Starbuck (Bucky) and the lover boy he is, prompty gave her a kiss.

Bucky is my first boy cat, ever (all the others are girls) and he is such a lover and such a terror at the same time!
