Oh WOW, they are both so much better than I thought!
I love them both though there's no way I can afford them ^_^

Thanks for posting these photos - I hope you post a lot more so I could live vicariously through them ^_^

Hi Vanelg1,

The haircuts are actually the same as the promo pics. Those shots I took are with the plastic hairbands delicately removed. So they are straight from the box, and a little flat, if you were to smooth a comb over the hair, and if given a chance to sit and fluff up naturally the hair will look just like the proto pics.

I actually like the hair as is, so I just showed it like that. The blonde has hair just like the promo pic (straighter), but I was thrilled to see that the brunette (at least my brunette) has very wavy hair. I will keep it like this.

Hi Lholy!

The tanned version is actually shipped. A really good friend of mine was there on business last week, and knows I love Momoko things, so he surprised me by getting one. I was a bit surprised when I saw her too!

I will ask where he got her. :)

Just got my pale girl a few days ago, and the tanned girl will come soon -- she hasn't arrived at my dealer's yet, I don't think, but once he gets her, it won't be long (as he sends EMS).

I like the pale girl, but one thing I was curious about... the little marks on her hands? at the base of her thumb, kind of? They look like tiny melt marks, but they must be from manufacturing, yes? because My Berry Hunter kind of has little dents there, too, but on her skintone, they don't show much. Does anyone know what I mean?

At first, I thought I just got a 'bad' one, but then I got to thinking maybe all were like this?

I haven't decided, yet, if I like the ultra-pale skintone yet. Does she feel heavier to you? Her joints were all very firm... not a thing loose or wobbly on this girl. I kind of thought she was a little ... well, I thought it would have been nice if she'd come with a bag or hat or something else, costume-wise. I love her outfit, don't get me wrong, it just seems a little unfinished to me, esp considering the prices seem to be going up.

A straw bag, or floppy hat, or sunglasses or ... something.

Can't wait to see the tanned girl~!! She looks fabulous. :)

Hi!

Hmmmm, interesting about the marks.....I haven't noticed, but I will definitely check to see what the hands look like on mine. Now I'm so curious. LOL!

That's so interesting that you brought up the weight issue with Momoko.
I too felt like they weigh more than usual, in fact I was feeling the same way as soon as I unpacked her. Since you brought it up, I see my feelings aren't off about it either. she's seems slightly heavier than before, and the joints like you mentioned are VERY tight too.

I know what you mean about the outfit. I do love it as is, but I hould have loved a cute straw bag with her, with wooden ring handles....Very Boho. :)

Definitely get the Tan girl (though I love them both equally)...but the Tan version has really gorgeous coloring. The blonde shade works beautifully with the tan complexion and her lips are actually very pretty as well, and not odd looking like the proto pics. :) She's Fabulous!

ouch the tan one is beautifull :D darn Sekiguchi why it makes the most beautifull Momoko only for japanese market  ?
and if I would one outside Japan I must pay much much more of her real price  is not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've the regular one :D and is stunning, I lover her very much, but me too think that is incomplete, I was expetting a beach-bag whith a bikini...why make only the bra :?

I agree, BOTH versions are Beautiful I can't pick between them....

About the missing bikini bottom, yeah I too thought this was a little odd, I would have liked the bottom part as well......

or perhaps this is why her name is HAPPY SUMMER......maybe she frequents nude beaches, and dosen't need the bottom?! LOL!;)
